Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Meet our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest after your flight, and your guide will brief you on the days ahead.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx & Saqqara
Spend the day with your private Egyptologist at the Giza plateau and the Sphinx, then visit the Step Pyramid at Saqqara and the ancient capital of Memphis.
Day 3: Travel south to Luxor: Karnak & Luxor Temple
Travel by train to Luxor, then visit the Karnak complex and Luxor Temple with your guide.
Day 4: Luxor West Bank
Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. A sunrise hot-air balloon ride can be added as an option.
Day 5: Board your Nile cruise
Transfer to your Nile cruise ship, settle into your cabin and enjoy a first evening on the river.
Day 6: Nile cruise: Esna & Edfu
Sail south through the Esna lock and visit the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu.
Day 7: Nile cruise: Kom Ombo & arrival in Aswan
Visit the twin temple of Kom Ombo on the riverbank, then continue to Aswan for sunset on the water.
Day 8: Aswan: Philae Temple & departure
Visit Philae Temple before your transfer to Aswan airport for your onward flight.
